THIS POLICY IS PROVIDED TO STUDENTS PRIOR TO ENROLMENT
As a Nationally Registered Training Organisation, we are able to collect fees from the learner and must provide or direct the learner to information specifying:
Fees that must be paid to us;
Payment terms and conditions including deposits and refunds;
Learner’s rights as a consumer, including but not limited to any statutory cooling-off period, if one applies;
Learner’s right to obtain a refund for services not provided by us in the event the:
> Arrangement is terminated early; or
> We fail to provide the Services.
The Fee for Service Fee is: $4997 – Payment only in installments.
Note: After the initial instalment of $1249 upon enrolment, students will be invoiced for their fees every 10 weeks or upon completion of 7 units of competencies, whichever comes first. Please refer to the payment plan below.

This should be paid upon enrolment.

RPL assessment for an individual unit of competency will be charged at $110/unit with total charge notexceeding $2100 for the entire qualification
III. ACTI will not accept prepaid fees in excess of $1500 at any given time.

COOLING OFF PERIOD
The decision to enrol in training has to be the right decision for your career aspirations and hopes for the future. To assistyou in making the right decision, we allow 10 days cooling off period immediately after your enrolment.
Students will be eligible for a refund of an initial payment paid upon enrolment if they withdraw within 10 days after the enrolment. An administration charge of $249 will be applied to fee for service students and remaining $1000 will be refunded. There will not be any refund for subsequent payments. There will be no cancellation charges applicable to subsidised students.
WITHDRAWING FROM A COURSE
If you leave and/or abandon your course after a cooling off period, there will be no refund.
In unforeseen circumstances where ACTI is unable to provide the course when number of students enrolling are insufficient to run the course, course fees will be refunded in full. Admin charge of $249 will not be applied in such circumstances.
There is no refund of fees for any poor and/or non – attendance, poor behavior or other circumstances preventing you from completing your course. Refund will be applied in extenuating circumstances upon written application. These refunds are at the discretion of the CEO.
Note: Under the National VET Regulator Act 2011, Standards 2015, we are entitled to withhold issuing you with a qualification or statement of attainment until such times as all fees have been paid in full, and we shall exercise our rights under this section.
LATE PAYMENT FEE
It is the student’s responsibility to pay fees on time according to the payment plan agreed upon at time of course enrolment and any late fee payments will incur a late fee payment as per agreement.
Should a student require an extension for their fee payments, they have to apply in writing to the CEO, at least two weeks prior to fee being due.
Note: Should the payment not be made at the agreed date, students will be reminded about the overdue account. However, ACTI may refer the matter to debt collection agency to its discretion, should the student does not respond. Matters which have been referred to the collection agency will not be handled by the institute and will be treated separately from any further accounts.
Any costs incurred in the collection of fees are the responsibility of the student / parent / guardian. The institute will not pay these fees.
Any student with outstanding fees shall be suspended from undertaking any training and assessment services until such times as the outstanding arrears have been brought up to date.
